Kaas

Kaas Lake is situated 26 kms from Satara city. It is on an altitude of 3,500 ft from sea level. This lake was built in 1875. The lake location is a calm and surrounded by forests. The Kasaidevi temple is near this lake. This lake is man-made lake.

The Kass lake provides drinking water to Satara city. While travailing to Kaas lake you will see Yewateshwar Temple. Kaas lake is the popular picnic spot. You will find many youngsters here in rainy season. The famous spots Bamnoli and Tapola are located near from Kass lake.
